SSC MTS or Staff Selection Commission-Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination is a national level exam conducted by Staff Selection Commission for recruitment of candidates in General Central Service Group-C non-gazetted, non-ministerial posts in various departments and offices of the Government of India.

SSC MTS is for candidates who have completed their class 10th exam and are looking for a government job . SSC MTS 2021 Exam (Multitasking Staff) is organized by Staff Selection Commission ( SSC) every year . The recruitment is for the following posts :
Peon

Daftary
Jamadar
Junior Gestetner Operator
Chowkidar
Safaiwala
Mali etc.

SSC MTS ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :



Nationality :

  • The candidate  must hold an  Indian Citizenship
  • He / She can be a Subject of  Nepal or  Bhutan. 
  • A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement.
  • A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India.
  • Please Note: Candidates belonging to the category 2, 3, and 4 must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government  of India in their favour.

 

SSC MTS Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates must have passed class 10th or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • As per Ministry of Human Resource Development Notification dated 10-06-2015 published in the Gazette of India all the degrees/ diplomas/ certificates awarded through Open and Distance Learning mode of education by the Universities established by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature, Institutions Deemed to be Universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 and Institutions of National Importance declared under an Act of Parliament stand automatically recognized for the purpose of employment to posts and services under the Central Government provided they have been approved by the Distance Education Bureau, University Grants Commission. Accordingly, unless such degrees are recognized for the relevant period when the candidates acquired the qualification, they will not be accepted for the purpose of Educational Qualification.
  • All the candidates who are called for Document Verification will be required to produce the relevant Certificates such as Mark sheets, Provisional Certificates etc. for completion of Matriculation or equivalent in original as proof of having acquired the minimum educational qualification on or before the cut-off date, failing which the candidature of such candidates will be cancelled by the Commission. The candidates who are able to prove, by documentary evidence, that the result of the qualifying examination was declared on or before the cut-off date and he/ she has been declared passed, will also be considered to meet the educational qualification. It is reiterated that the result of requisite educational qualification must have been declared by the Board/ Institute/ University by the specified date. Mere processing of the result by the Board/ University/ Institute by the cut-off date does not fulfill the EQ requirement. 
  • Candidates possessing equivalent educational qualification shall also produce relevant Equivalence Certificate from the concerned authorities at the time of Document Verification. However, final decision regarding selection of such candidates will be taken by the concerned User Departments/ Appointing Authorities.

 

SSC MTS Age Limit:




Candidates must be between 18-25 years of age to be eligible to apply .  Apart from this candidates are granted relaxation in age limit as per government norms . They are as follows :

Others-upto 35 years of age; SC/ST-upto 40 years of age 

Service Clerks in the last year of their service in the Armed Forces.

Others-Upto 45 years of age;SC/ST-upto 50 years
